Summer of '99

He was my Comp. Lit. professor, introducing me to such classics as Heart of Darkness and Robinson Crusoe.

Oh, the sweet memories I have of those hot summer mornings spent discussing Kurtz, the dark harbinger of the 20th century; Caliban, the savage who resists all efforts to tame him; and finally, brave Crusoe himself, whose relationship with Friday is thought to have been as a "big brother to the pygmy in sexual matters."

First my high school band teacher, now this.
